At Bark Friendly, we specialize in customized training services that work for your dog, your family, and your situation. We understand that all dogs are unique and not all techniques will work for all dogs.  While we have methods that we prefer, our priority is to develop a training plan that will most effectively work for your dog.

As part of our services, we will take the time to get to know you, your dog and what you hope to achieve. Training your dog is a learning process, so we will make adjustments as the training progresses to ensure that your training experience is a successful one.  These are some of the services we offer.  If there is something else you are interested in, we will work with you to develop a program that fits your needs.

In-Home Training*

A Bark Friendly trainer will come to your home, where your dog is typically most at ease. All in-home training is customized to fit your schedule.  Our trainers come to you and teach you the methods appropriate for your dog.

On-site Training*
A Bark Friendly trainer will meet with you at a designated location to extend the training area past your home.

Walk & Train*

Field trips for your dog! One of our trainers will pick up your dog and take him on an outing for training.  Skills trained may include socialization, leash basics, heeling and a variety of other exercises (sit, down, recall).

Board & Train

While you are away, our trainers will work in conjunction with your pet sitter or boarding facility to train with your dog.  This can be for a short out of town trip or for several weeks of more in-depth training.

New Dog Consultations

Ready to get a new dog or puppy?  Are you interested in a purebred puppy or a rescue mutt? A Bark Friendly trainer can help advise you on how to select the right type of dog for your family and lifestyle.  Our trainers can also provide helpful resources on selecting a good breeder.

New Puppy Training Packages*

Welcoming a new puppy into your home can present a number of challenges…especially if you haven’t had a puppy in a while.  Our trainers provide weekly consultations for 4-6 weeks starting when you bring your new puppy home.

We help you and your puppy start out on the right foot in the convenience of your own home. You and your whole family will be involved in the training process.  We cover basic skills: sit, down, stay, wait, name recognition, recall, leave it, focus, loose leash walking, potty training, and socialization.
